Family-owned in Key Largo since 1983, our Island Adventure Snorkeling Excursion is a fully private sail aboard the Carolina Moon — a 37′ × 22′ open catamaran sailboat, USCG certified for up to 24 passengers plus 2 crew. We sail to the protected Pelican Key area, a mangrove island and bird refuge inside the National Marine Sanctuary that borders Everglades National Park.
This is small-group, private snorkeling in Key Largo done the easy way. The water here is crystal-clear and often wadeable — a sand-bottom flat where you can stand up between dips. No fins are needed, and because the bay is calm and shallow (often under 7 feet), there is virtually no seasickness. It is ideal for all ages, families, and complete beginners.

Do I need to know how to swim to snorkel?
No. Our snorkel site is a calm, shallow, often wadeable sand-bottom area, and we provide flotation — floats and noodles — plus paddleboards. Beginners and non-swimmers do great.
Where do you pick up?
We come to you. Private bayside pickups are available between Mile Marker 92 (MM92) and MM103 in Key Largo. No private dock or spot of your own? Meet us at our port of call — Bayside Grille at MM99 bayside. Your exact pickup is confirmed at booking.
How long is the snorkeling excursion?
About 2.5 to 3 hours on the water, with a Captain and First Mate aboard the entire time.
